Bio
Family nurse practitioner Coddie Tatro is steadfast in her commitment to her patients’ well-being. She started practicing in 2020, with interests in internal medicine, primary care, pediatrics, dermatology, wound care, neurology and cardiac care. She enjoys coordinating care for patients with who have co-existing conditions or are frequently hospitalized or in the emergency department, with the goal to help keep them out of the hospital. Coddie treats infants, children, teens and adults, performing well-child exams, adult physical exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.
Coddie earned her undergraduate degree in nursing and her master’s in nursing leadership and management from Western Governors University. She then attended Herzing University in Milwaukee, where she earned her post-master’s certification to become a family nurse practitioner. She completed her clinicals at Banner Del E Webb Medical Center and at Centra Internal Medicine in Sun City, AZ. She completed her women’s health clinicals at the Gondra Center for Reproductive Care and Advanced Gynecology in Phoenix. Coddie belongs to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has served in many different areas of the medical field, including the role of a bedside registered nurse in the emergency department providing care to level-one trauma patients, as a neuro-telemetry nurse working with stroke patients, as a nurse manager of a psych unit, and as a nurse in the ICU.
When she’s not treating her patients, Coddie enjoys spending time with her two sons and her husband. She also likes hiking, working out and taking care of her many loving cats and dogs. Coddie also loves to do home projects and work on cars.
