David Hoefer, MD
Dr. David Hoefer is passionate about making a positive impact in his patients’ lives, providing quality care since 1999.
A graduate in biology from The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Hoefer attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston where he is also currently an associate professor in family medicine. He completed his residency work at UTMB with a specialty in family practice. His contributions to community-based education earned him UTMB’s Top Doc Award as well as recognition for his work in family medicine and as a second-year resident. Dr. Hoefer is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Harris County Medical Society and the Theta Kappa Psi Medical Fraternity at UTMB. He is also a diplomate for the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Hoefer is a life-long Texan who was born and raised in Houston. He is married and has three children.
