Physician Assistant David Sorenson (pronounced “DAY-vid SOAR-ren-sun”) has been practicing since 2006, with a focus on Urgent Care (Primary Care) and clinical interests in functional medicine, primary care and urgent care.
David completed his undergraduate study at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. He received a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. He is certified by the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and belongs to the National Associate of Certified Physician Assistants (NACPA).
David has certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Functional Medicine. He also has certification as a personal trainer with NASM.
In addition to English, David is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and their five children, as well as indulging his hobbies: music, sports and resistance training.
