Elise Ballard, APRN, FNP-BC

Nurse practitioner Elise Ballard (pronounced “Eh leese / Ba llard) is devoted to the health and wellbeing of her patients. She started practicing as a registered nurse in 1999 and as a family nurse practitioner in 2009. Her areas of clinical interest include women’s health, mental health, endocrinology, cardiology, infectious disease, pediatrics, and minor surgical procedures. Elise treats patients of all ages.

Elise attended Texas Tech University in her hometown of Lubbock, TX then transferred and earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX. She completed her master’s degree and family nurse practitioner training at The University of Texas at Arlington. She is an ANCC board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC). She is a member of the North Texas Nurse Practitioners Association (NTNP) and has extensive experience in emergency/urgent care medicine. She also enjoys teaching and precepting nurse practitioner students.

On a personal note, Elise enjoys time with her friends and family including her pet dog. She particularly enjoys college sports, hiking/walking trails in Allen, watching television and movies, reading, shopping, traveling, and attending summer camp in New Mexico.
