Ethiopia Gebeyehu, MD
As a dedicated practitioner, Dr. Ethiopia Gebeyehu (Guh--by-you) is passionate about helping her patients optimize their health and pursue preventative care. She is board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Ethiopia started practicing medicine in 1997. She works with adults, performing adult physical exams, well-woman exams and Medicare annual wellness visits. She strives to provide comprehensive whole-person care to her patients. She focuses on educating her patients on health conditions and developing individualized plans of care that addresses their unique needs and concerns. After more than 20 years of medical practice, Dr. Gebeyehu continues to see her physician role as a unique gift and privilege.
Dr. Gebeyehu completed a combined six-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During this time, she earned a bachelor’s in biology and finished medical school. She then completed her residency at the Banner – University Medical Center in Phoenix (formerly Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center), where she focused on internal medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP) and the American Association of Physician Leadership (AAPL).
When she’s not helping patients, Dr. Gebeyehu enjoys hiking, reading, attending plays and concerts, traveling and reading. She has a passion for international missions, and serves annually on short-term team projects in East Africa....
