Bio
Nurse practitioner Frank Macalma is committed to his patients’ well-being. He started practicing in 2021, with a medical interest in primary care and internal medicine. Frank treats adults, performing adult physical exams and Medicare annual wellness visits. He is certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and neonatal resuscitation (NRP).
Frank earned his undergraduate degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Phoenix. He obtained his master’s degree in adult gerontology and acute care from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. He completed his residency with the Banner Health Network. Frank has experience as an ICU nurse, specializing in cardiac ICU. He completed travel nursing in ICU and interventional radiology at Keck Medicine of USC in California. He has also worked as an emergency nurse and a flight nurse.
In his free time, Frank enjoys hiking, working out and spending time with his family and friends. He has recently become the father to a beautiful baby girl.
