Physician Assistant Joseph Nyankum is devoted to providing his patients with quality care. He started practicing in 2020 and his medical areas of interest are in family medicine, internal medicine and hematology/oncology. Joseph treats children, teens and adults, performing well child exams, adult physical exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.
Joseph earned his undergraduate degree in pre-medicine with a biology focus from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, GA. He attended graduate school at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN to become a physician assistant. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Beta Beta Beta, the national biological honor society. Joseph is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Joseph is married and enjoys spending time with his family and young son. He also likes playing (and watching) soccer, traveling, hiking and cooking. Joseph is fluent in Twi, a native language of Ghana, West Africa.
