LaBraile McCoy, DNP, FNP-C

Nurse practitioner LaBraile McCoy (pronounced “Lah bra ull / Mik oy”) has been caring for the health and wellbeing of infants, children, teens, and adults since 2016. She has clinical interest in family practice and primary care. LaBraile enjoys listening to her patients to grasp a better understanding of their needs. She strives to provide patients with exceptional care. LaBraile manages various acute and chronic conditions including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes. LaBraile feels that preventative health screenings, wellness visits and chronic disease management are a priority in order to avoid preventable health complications.

LaBraile earned an associate degree in nursing from Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL, and a bachelor’s in nursing from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. She earned a master’s in nursing as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN, and is certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C). LaBraile then earned her Doctor of Nursing practice (DNP) from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO.

LaBraile is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia (UAPRN) and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

When LaBraile is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, teaching exercise dance and fitness, traveling, reading, and finding ways to further her education within her nursing field.
