Nurse practitioner Maria Kenneally (pronounced “Muh ree uh / Ke nee lee”) has been caring for the health and wellbeing of children, teens and adults since 2003. She has clinical interest in health promotion and disease prevention as well as evidence-based, acute care management of type 2 diabetes care, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and asthma.
Maria earned a bachelor’s in nursing from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL. She completed a master’s in nursing and training as a family nurse practitioner from Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, WI. Maria also earned a doctor of nursing practice (DNP) from Minnesota State University in Moorhead, MN. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has previous professional experience as a nursing instructor and preceptor. Maria has been published multiple times and presented at national speaking engagements.
On a personal note, Maria is married and enjoys spending time with her three adult children, her grandson and pet dog. She and her family enjoy camping, hiking and other outdoor activities. She also enjoys quilting and painting.
