Michael Wayne, DO
Michael completed a bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University in 1974. He graduated with an osteopathic degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA, in 1977. Dr. Wayne went on to complete his internship and the family residency program at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI. He became board-certified in family medicine in 1980. Dr. Wayne went into family practice and started his first family medical center in 1981. Dr. Wayne served as chief of staff for two years at Beaumont Hospital.
In recognition of his skills and service, Dr. Wayne has repeatedly been named a Top Doc by Hour Magazine. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons (MAOP&S).
When he’s not assisting patients, Dr. Wayne is an avid golfer. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and his best friend, “Champ.”
