Bio
Dr. Parwin Sadaat is dedicated to her patients, providing exceptional care since 2005. With her interest in family practice, Dr. Sadaat performs well-child exams, adult physical exams, well-woman exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.
Parwin attended medical school at Kabul Medical University in Afghanistan. She then completed her residency in family practice at Ghent Family Practice in Norfolk, Virginia. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the American Medical Association (AMA). She has earned diplomate status from the American Board of Family Physicians, the United States Medical Licensing Examination and the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. She holds certifications for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), the Neonatal Resuscitation Algorithm (NALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), as well as recognition certificates from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for delivery of quality cardiovascular/stroke care and diabetes management.
When she’s not treating her patients, Dr. Sadaat loves being the mother of four children. She also enjoys reading, traveling and hiking. She is fluent in Farsi/Dari, Pashto and Urdu/Hindi.
