Bio
Dr Robyn Fossey is a family physician committed to her patient’s health and wellbeing. She began practicing medicine in 2020 and worked as a hospitalist for 2 years. She now works exclusively in outpatient medicine with clinical interest in mental health, addiction and preventive medicine.
Dr. Fossey earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin. She then obtained her juris doctorate degree and practiced law for 4 years in Minnesota where she is a licensed attorney. She knew her true passion was medicine and changed careers. She performed her clinical work in Chicago, IL and obtained her MD/MBA. She completed her residency in Arkansas with a focus in family medicine where she served as chief resident for two years. She also obtained a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, in cardiovascular diseases and genetics where she was able to incorporate both her legal and medical degrees.
Dr. Fossey is board certified by the by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and is also certified in basic life support (BLS) pediatric life support (PALS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS). She is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA).
