Dr. Sean Sackett (pronounced “SHON SACK-itt”) has been a board certified family medicine physician practicing in Gilbert Arizona since 2004. Dr. Sackett also has many years experience working in Emergency Medicine over that same time. He has clinical interests in sports and aviation medicine.
Dr. Sacket completed his undergraduate study at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He attended medical school at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a Family Medicine residency at Midwestern University – Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He also completed a Health Policy fellowship (Training in Policy Studies) at New York Institute of Technology/New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), Dr. Sackett also belongs to the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA). He has completed additional certifications in Advanced Traumatic Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
