Sharon Mertins, PA-C

Physician Assistant Sharon Mertins (pronounced “SHARE-run MUR-tens”) is focused on Family Practice and has been practicing since 2004. She cares for adults ages 18 and greater, and performs adult physical exams, well-woman exams, well-child exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.

Sharon completed her general undergraduate studies in Riverside, CA. She was a medical assistant for eight years before returning to school to become Physician Assistant and completing rotations with the county hospital. She then returned to work with the doctor for whom she had been a medical assistant.

In her free time, Sharon enjoys quilting, biking, going to the gym, playing video games and watching movies. Christmastime is her favorite part of year, and she likes to spend time with her family, which includes her son and four grandchildren.
