Bio
Nurse practitioner Sheilah Adams is dedicated to caring for patients throughout their lifespan and especially enjoys caring for elderly adults. She started practicing in 2015 with a focus on family care, including preventive care and meeting age-specific guidelines. Sheilah treats infants, children, teens and adults, performing well child exams, well woman exams, adult physical exams and Medicare wellness visits.
Sheilah earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from Goshen University and later completed graduate school at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She completed her residency work in family medicine at the Benton Harbor Health Center with Don Tynes, MD, in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
When she’s not helping her patients, Sheilah enjoys quilting, sewing, listening to music, singing, reading and fishing. She loves to spend time with her six adult children and five grandchildren. However, most of all, Sheilah loves church and worshiping God.
