About
Bio
Dr. Steven K. Booton is devoted to ensuring his patients receive exemplary care. He started practicing in 1986 and is passionate about addressing ways to strengthen the relationship between doctors and patients. While a faculty member at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, he taught courses in communication skills to students, residents and practicing physicians. Dr. Booton treats adults, performing well woman exams, adult physical exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.
Dr. Booton earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. He then attended The University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed his residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with a focus in internal medicine. From 1989 to 1992, Dr. Booton worked as an assistant professor in the department of medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He was named a fellow in the American College of Physicians, the national organization that represents internal medicine physicians, in 1992.
When he’s not helping his patients, Dr. Booton enjoys playing golf. He and his wife, Ginny, love to travel, read and share meals with friends.
