Tina Corkran, MD

Dr. Tina Corkran is dedicated to ensuring her patients receive the best care possible. She started practicing in 2005 with medical interest in women’s health and mission-minded Christian-based healthcare that focuses on disease prevention and health preservation through lifestyle modification. Dr. Corkran treats infants, children, teens and adults, performing adult physical exams, well woman exams, well child exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.

Dr. Corkran earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. She attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center (UT Health) in Houston, Texas and then completed the Conroe Family Medicine Residency Program with a focus in family practice. In addition to working as a practicing physician, Dr. Corkran is also a clinical assistant professor in family medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) in Galveston, Texas.

When she’s not helping her patients, Dr. Corkran enjoys hiking and biking, laughing and serving with her family and friends. She also loves medical mission trips to Marmelade, Haiti where she partners with a church to offer a community clinic. Dr. Corkran is also fluent in Spanish.
