Bio
Alan Bloch (pronounced “Al an/Block”), DPM, is dedicated to his patients’ health. A doctor of podiatric medicine, Dr. Bloch started practicing in 2000 with a clinical interest in podiatric medicine, foot surgery and wound care, as well as diabetic and other areas of foot care. Dr. Bloch treats infants and adults.
Dr. Bloch attended the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery (formerly known as the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences). He completed his residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital (previously the Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital) in Pontiac, MI.
Dr. Bloch is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS), the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and the American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA). He is also a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), a follow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine (ACPM) and a member of the American Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing (APWH).
On a personal note, Dr. Bloch enjoys spending time with his family and, particularly, his three sons.
