Bio
Dr. Alejandro Rocha (pronounced “All-eh-HAN-dro ROH-cha”) has been practicing since 2019, with a focus on Primary Care and clinical interests in preventative medicine, diabetes management, cardiovascular disease, nutrition and weight management. He firmly believes that the best outcomes are achieved by working alongside his patients and empowering them to play an active role in managing their health.
Dr. Rocha completed his undergraduate study at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a concentration in Genetics and Bioinformatics. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and completed a Family and Community Medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), Dr.Rocha also belongs to the American Academy of Family Medicine (AAFP) and the Texas Medical Association (TMA). He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
When he isn’t seeing patients, Alejandro likes to spend time with his wife, barbecue, play local ultimate Frisbee and disc golf, and attend live sporting events and concerts.
