Anil Dara, MD

In practice since 1996, Dr. Anil Dara has been devoted to his patients’ health and well-being. He has a medical interest in comprehensive primary care and in the areas of gastroenterology, endocrinology, diagnostic processes, and minor surgical procedures. Dr. Dara treats adults, performing adult physical exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.

Dr. Dara earned his undergraduate degree in India and attended medical school at the Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He then completed training in General Surgery in the United Kingdom and earned the Fellowship at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He completed his residency at St. Mary’s Medical Campus, Strong Memorial System in Rochester, New York with a specialty in internal medicine and primary care.

Dr. Dara serves as a voluntary clinical assistant professor in the department of medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is also a clinical assistant professor in the department of medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is fluent in Hindi, Telugu and Persian.
