Dr. Barbara Barnett, DO, has been a dedicated Family Medicine provider since 1982. Her clinical interests lie in acute care and preventative medicine for children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Barnett earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Drake University and later pursued a Master of Arts with a focus on Genetics from the same institution. She attended Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery for her medical degree. Her residency was completed at St Joseph Mercy Hospital, in affiliation with the University of Iowa.
Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Barnett also holds a fellowship with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), of which she is a member. Her commitment to her field and her patients has been unwavering throughout her career.
