Cathy Benavides, NP

Nurse Practitioner Cathy Waldon Benavides (pronounced “ben-ah-vee-dis”) began practicing in 2006, with a focus in family medicine, and a clinical interest in chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Cathy completed her bachelor’s degree and masters degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she was in Sigma Theta Tau and on the President’s Honor List. While enrolled in graduate studies, she was a part time Nursing Instructor.

She is married and likes to spend her spare time with family and friends, and pursuing her hobby of photography.
