Bio
Nurse practitioner Emily Machann (pronounced “M mil ee / Mach ann”) is dedicated to the wellbeing of her patients. She started practicing in 2021 with clinical interest in adult health and geriatrics.
Emily earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Delgado Community College in New Orleans, LA, and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She completed her master’s degree and family nurse practitioner training from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, TX. Emily is a certified adult geriatric primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP) and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Nurses Association (ANA).
On a personal note, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking and traveling.
