Farha Syed, MD, is a Family Medicine specialist who began practicing in 2018. She has a broad range of clinical interests, including obesity medicine, mental health, preventative care, diabetes, lifestyle medicine, and reproductive health.
Dr. Syed completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Texas A&M. She later attended Ross University School of Medicine for her medical degree and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
Dr. Syed is also fluent in Urdu and Hindi, which helps her connect with a diverse range of patients.
In her free time, Dr. Syed loves to travel and cook. She also enjoys spending time with her family, doing crafts such as rug tufting, and leading an active lifestyle.
