Physician assistant Fatema Amiji (pronounced “fah tee mah / ah mee jee”) has been taking care of the health and wellbeing of patients since 2015. Her clinical interests are in family and internal medicine.
Fatema earned a bachelor's degree in neurobiology at The University of Texas at Austin before earning a master's in physician assistant studies at The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. She has special interest in oncology, cancer screening, preventative care and has completed a clinical rotation at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has experience in rural medicine and has volunteered for the international medical mission trips in Costa Rica and Tanzania. She is fluent in Gujarati, Urdu, Hindi, and Swahili.
When she’s not with patients, Fatema enjoys time with her three children, reading, trying new restaurants and cuisines, and traveling.
