Gerardo Anaya believes that at the core of every clinical visit is a shared human experience. With more than 15 years of front-line experience spanning primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, public health, and HIV prevention, Gerardo has cared for people across every stage of life. This journey has taught him how to relate to members during their most diverse seasons, meeting them exactly where they are with empathy and respect. He provides care for members aged 18 and older.

Gerardo is a strong advocate for evidence-based medicine, ensuring that every treatment plan is rooted in validated, up-to-date science. He reads the latest medical literature, and prepares brief reviews to educate members at each appointment. He has been particularly active in the field of HIV prevention, managing preventative medication for at-risk individuals.

In every visit, Gerardo’s priority is to create a comfortable, collaborative environment. He practices shared clinical decision-making, where the member’s preferences and most pressing needs of the day are prioritized. By working together on a personalized healthcare plan, he ensures members feel empowered to take charge of their health.

To maintain his own wellness, Gerardo stays grounded through meditation, spirituality, and weightlifting several times a week. He is an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction, and he is also a vegan who loves experimenting with new recipes. Gerardo loves spending time in the garden, and has more than 200 species of plants at his home.
