Hannah Romano, FNP-C
Nurse practitioner Hannah Romano (pronounced “Han ah / Ro mah no”) is devoted to her patients’ wellbeing. She started practicing in 2016 with clinical interest in primary and preventive health, contraception education, mental health and LGBTQ+ care. She also has interest in the management of chronic disease management, including diabetes and heart disease.
Hannah earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and Spanish from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. After graduation, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in Juneau, AK, at the National Council for Alcoholism and Drug Dependence. She then obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. After practicing as a registered nurse in a cardiac unit, Hannah completed a master’s degree in nursing from Western Carolina University in Asheville, NC. Hannah continued on a path of caring for patients in atypical communities and practiced as a family nurse practitioner for three years at a rural community health center serving a migrant worker population. Hannah is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is fluent in Spanish.
On a personal note, Hannah lives an active lifestyle. She enjoys mountain biking, hiking, running and snowboarding. She thrives on daily outdoor time and seeks to be outside as much as possible. She understands the connection between mental and physical health and works hard to achieve balance. Hannah is also a certified yoga instructor.
