Bio
Physician Assistant Jamie Callahan began practicing in 2020 with a focus on primary care, and clinical interest in acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, women's health and orthopedics. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is also certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Mental Health First Aid.
Jamie received her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She is a member of Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also a pre-PA-student mentor.
On a personal note, she enjoys traveling, cooking, exercise and spending time with her family and friends.
