Jay Swanson (pronounced “J ae / Swan son”), MD, is dedicated to the wellbeing of his patients. He started practicing in 2001 with clinical interest in internal medicine and geriatrics.
Dr. Swanson earned his undergraduate degree in zoology at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ and attended medical school at University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. He then completed his residency with the Scottsdale Healthcare Family Practice residency in Scottsdale, AZ.
Dr. Swanson was board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) 2001-2012 and is currently board eligible. He has served on the board of directors for Banner Physician Health Organization from 2008-2012 and is also a U.S. Army veteran
