John Jakes Pang, DO

John Pang, DO, is a family practice physician who has been caring for patients since 1998. He is passionate about preventive medicine and helping patients take charge of their health through education and awareness. Dr. Pang’s clinical interests include managing modern-day illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension, and he enjoys building long-term relationships with patients while providing comprehensive primary care visits for individuals and families.

Dr. Pang studied Medical Technology at the University of Texas at Austin, where he focused on laboratory work and pathology. He earned his medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and completed his residency at Columbia Medical Center–Dallas Southwest. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and is a member of the AOA, AMA, TOMA and ACOFP.

Outside of work, Dr. Pang enjoys traveling and staying active through light sports. As an official empty nester, he is looking forward to new experiences and spending more time with family.
