Julia Kovacs, MD

As a dedicated physician with more than twenty-five years of medical experience, Julia Ann Kovacs, MD, has a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of her patients. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and has been with Village Medical since 2020. Her medical focus and interests include preventative medicine, managing patients’ chronic medical issues, transgender hormone management, diabetes and HIV.   

Dr. Kovacs is originally from Arizona, where she obtained her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and attended University of Arizona College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.  

When not in the office, Dr. Kovacs enjoys time with her wife and their five children. She and her family take pleasure in boating, stand-up paddling and cooking together. Dr. Kovacs is also an avid runner and swimmer.
