Julie Shapiro, PA-C

Julietta (Julie) Shapiro, PA-C, is a Family Medicine and Urgent Care provider who started practicing in 2018. She has a strong interest in pediatrics and women’s health, particularly performing well-woman exams, addressing urgent care needs, and providing preventive care. She enjoys working with individuals from infancy through age 65, where she can build long-term, meaningful relationships and focus on education, early detection, and overall wellness.

Julie completed her undergraduate degree at Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University. Julie is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and holds additional certifications including AZ State Licensure, ACLS, BLS, and DEA registration. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Julie is fluent in Russian.

Outside of work, Julie loves spending time with her husband and their children. They enjoy going to the aquarium, swimming, staying active with workouts, and taking small family trips to create lasting memories. She also has a past passion for ballroom dancing, and her family are big hockey fans. In the future, Julie hopes to pursue a medical mission trip, combining her love for healthcare with her desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
