Julie Thornton brings a passion for family medicine and the chance to make a difference through close patient interactions.
Julie graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and later obtained her master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Marietta College in 2005.
Julie believes a good practitioner treats the disease; the great practitioner treats the patient who has the disease.
It is important to Julie to “work hard but play harder.” When I am not hard at work, I am either on an outdoor adventure, at the gym, or spending time with family (outside). I am a huge advocate of eating healthy and exercising. Healthy mind + healthy body = healthy life. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trail running, biking, snowboarding, walking her two German shorthaired pointers, and listening to music.
