Dr. Karina Gutierrez is focused on family medicine and has clinical interests in preventive medicine, well- woman exams and geriatrics. She began practicing in 2016.
Dr. Gutierrez earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas State University, in San Marcos, completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, in Galveston, and a family medicine residency at the Dell Medical School, in Austin. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the AAFP and TAFP.
Dr. Gutierrez is fluent in English and Spanish.
Karina is married with two children and two dogs. She spends a lot of time taking her kids to baseball, soccer, ballet and swimming. She loves to travel with her family, being outdoors and hiking. She also enjoys decorating parties, especially with balloons, as a hobby.
