Lola Ijamakinwa, MD, a board-certified Family Medicine physician, has been providing care since 2013. Her clinical interests lie in managing hypertension and diabetes.
Dr. Ijamakinwa completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She then moved to the United States to complete her Family Medicine Residency Program at Morehouse School of Medicine. She is a proud member of the American Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA), and she is fluent in English and Yoruba.
When she's not at work, Dr. Ijamakinwa loves spending time with her family. She's a wife and a mother to an adult son and two little girls. She enjoys walking, gardening, and engaging in creative arts. She is passionate about her Christian faith, which guides her in her personal life and in caring for her patients.
Dr. Ijamakinwa has a special place in her heart for her elderly patients. She believes in caring wholeheartedly for them, hoping that the good energy she creates will reach her own mother in Nigeria.
