Maqsood Javed (pronounced "Muh k s oo d / Ja Ved" ), MD, is an internal medicine doctor and has been caring for adults since 1991. His clinical interest is in geriatrics.
Dr. Javed graduated from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He completed the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency Program as well as a fellowship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, in pulmonary medicine and critical care.
Dr. Javed is a member of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). As a clinical assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Dr. Javed helps train nurse practitioners and medical students. Besides English, he is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi.
When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Javed enjoys traveling.
