Maribel Gonzalez, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who began practicing in 2017. She has a keen interest in health maintenance, disease prevention, chronic disease management, acute care for all ages, and mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
Maribel completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at El Paso. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Education from Grand Canyon University and completed a Post-Master's Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Texas at El Paso. Maribel is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In addition to English, Maribel is also fluent in Spanish, which allows her to serve a broader community of patients.
When not helping her patients, Maribel enjoys reading, listening to music, and learning new things. She has a passion for helping with tough questions, solving medical cases, and explaining science. Her constant pursuit of knowledge not only benefits her but also helps her patients grow, heal, and connect better with others.
