Bio
Mary Hernandez is a board certified Physician Assistant and has been practicing since 2014. She has a passion for family medicine and has clinical interests in chronic care management, preventive care, women's health, weight loss management, patient education, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, thyroid disorders, sleep disorders, psychiatric disorders, acute and chronic pulmonary diseases, acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases, minors injuries, musculoskeletal disorders and sport/school physicals.
Mary received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, in Kingsville, and a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch, in Galveston. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association.
Mary is fluent in English and Spanish, is married and has three sons. She loves spending time with them, being outdoors, going for walks, cooking and traveling.
