Bio
Max Richard, MPAS, PA-C, began practicing in 2012, with a focus on Urgent Care and Primary Care. He has a keen interest in urgent care, emergency medicine, and office-based procedures.
Max earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees through the Interservice Physician Assistant Program while serving in the Army. This rigorous program allowed him to complete over 120 credits in one year, with more than 40 hours of class per week. His additional certifications include Army Flight Surgeon, Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification, and a Tropical Medicine Course. Max is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA).
After a distinguished 24-year career in the Army, Max retired on January 1, 2025. He now dedicates his time and expertise to providing top-notch care to his patients.
Outside of work, Max enjoys spending quality time with his beautiful wife and four children. Whether it's taking the kids to sports or school activities, or enjoying the great outdoors with beach trips, fishing, and camping, family is at the heart of his life. Originally from North Carolina, Max has called El Paso home since 2012, after being stationed there with the 1st Armored Division.
