Megan Blackburn (pronounced “Meg uhn / Blak burn”), MD, began practicing medicine in 2005 with clinical interest in preventive care and women’s health. She treats patients of all ages.
Dr. Blackburn attended Duke University in Durham, NC, where she majored in classical studies. She graduated from medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio. She completed her residency in family medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Blackburn is board certified in family medicine. In addition to her vocation as a medical professional, Dr. Blackburn cares about education. She serves on the Buckeye Union High School District Governing Board so that she can support children and teens as they pursue their life goals.
On a personal note, Dr. Blackburn is married and has a daughter and twin sons. As a family, they enjoy attending Arizona Cardinals games together. Dr. Blackburn also enjoys attending her children's sports games, reading, movies, photography and self-manicures.
