MinhHang Chu, DO

Dr. MinhHang Chu has been practicing since 1995, with a focus on Family Medicine and strong clinical interests in ambulatory care consistent with urgent care, and the full spectrum of Family Medicine for all age groups, including wellness and preventative medicine.

Dr. Chu is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Texas Medical Association (TMA), Harris County Academy of Family Physicians (HCAFP) and Harris County Medical Society. She has been Physician of the Day for the Texas House of Representatives 84th Legislature, as well as a preceptor for medical students and residents, and also serves as team doctor for the Texas State Taekwondo Championship.

Dr. Chu completed her undergraduate studies at Houston Baptist University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with dual majors in Biology and Chemistry. She attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, and completed a Family Medicine residency at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital, University of Texas Health Science Center.

Dr. Chu enjoys cooking and dining out, as well as propagating plants and breeding fish.
