Bio
Dr. Neda Mehmandoost, DPM, AACFAS earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas in San Antonio. She went on to graduate from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with added certification in reconstructive rear foot/ankle surgery at West Houston Medical Center where she excelled in the advanced techniques of foot and ankle reconstruction, podiatric surgery, sports medicine, as well as treatment of the diabetic foot.
Dr. Mehmandoost is committed to her patients and treats patients of all ages. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA)
Her philosophy as a physician is to treat her patients the same way she would treat her family, and she is a firm believer of providing the highest standard of patient care. She enjoys taking the time to explain all aspects of her patient’s diagnosis and treatment plan so that her patients can take an active role in their own healthcare. She takes pleasure in getting to know her patients, and building relationships as their treatment progresses. She feels blessed to be able to use her knowledge to help those affected by foot or ankle ailments, and enable them to walk pain free again. She is fluent in Farsi and in her free time, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her family.
