Nicole Wood, PA-C

Nicole Wood, MS, PA-C, specializes in Internal Medicine and has been practicing since 2010. Her clinical interests include combining the physical, social, and emotional elements of health and wellness to treat the whole person, not just an illness. She believes in actively listening to develop creative and cooperative health management plans involving the patient, their family, and caregivers. Geriatrics, women's health, Neurology, and GI are some of her special interests.

Nicole completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Military Science at Eastern Michigan University, located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Detroit Mercy. Certified by the NCCPA, Nicole is also a member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Outside of her professional life, Nicole has always called Southeast Michigan home, except for her time serving as a Navy Hospital Corpsman. She is married and has a teenage daughter who loves to play soccer and participate in track and cross country. Nicole and her family love cooking and baking, traveling, watching the Lions, and enjoying nature. She truly believes in the words of Benjamin Franklin, "When you are good to others, you are best to yourself."
