Bio
Nurse Practitioner Precious Uwaezuoke (pronounced “Prea-shus Was-okay”) focuses in family medicine, and has been practicing since 2016. Her areas of clinical interest are sickle cell disease and hematology.
Precious is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a Certified Nurse Educator through the National League for Nursing. She obtained her bachelor of science degree in nursing at Prairie View A&M University in Houston, her master's degree at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and doctorate degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University. She is a member of Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses, Houston Area Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
On a personal note, she loves traveling, movies, and anything arts and crafts. She enjoys learning how to cook new things and hanging out with her family.
