Bio
Priya Davar (pronounced pree-ya d aa - v er), MD, is committed to the wellbeing of her patients. She started practicing in 2018 and her areas of clinical interest include family planning, adolescent medicine and LGBTQ+ health. Dr. Davar treats children, teens and adults.
Dr. Davar earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin where she studied global public health and conducted infectious disease research in India. She attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, FL. Dr. Davar completed her Family medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston with a focus in family medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians (ABFM) and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Doctors for Change, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) and the American Medical Association (AMA). Dr. Davar is fluent in Spanish.
On a personal note, Dr. Davar enjoys spending time with her family, playing soccer and performing improvisational comedy at a local theater.
