Rebecca Burke, MD

Rebecca Burke (pronounced Ruh beck ah / B uhrk), MD, is committed to providing quality care to patients of all ages. Dr. Burke has clinical interest in preventative care, geriatric care, LGBTQIA+ care, women's health, and hospice and palliative care. She began practicing medicine in 2017.

Dr. Burke graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, with  a concentration in pre-med. She attended medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Dr. Burke went on to complete her residency in family medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She also completed a fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX in hospice and palliative care.

Dr. Burke is a member of several medical associations including the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Texas Academy of Family Physicians (TAFP), Texas Medical Association (TMA), and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM).
