Rezwan Ahmed, MD

Rezwan Ahmed, MD, FACP, dABOM, is a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist who has been practicing since 2015. His clinical interests include Obesity Medicine, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Cardiovascular Disease, Preventative Medicine, Mindfulness, Hypertension, Diabetes, and Metabolic Syndrome.

Dr. Ahmed completed his undergraduate studies in biology, chemistry, and psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his medical degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where he also completed both his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a diploma from the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Ahmed is fluent in Bengali and speaks intermediate Spanish.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ahmed is an avid traveler who has visited nearly 100 countries. He enjoys hiking, culinary adventures, and spending time with family and friends. He's also a big fan of ping pong and enjoys playing whenever he gets the chance.
