Ruslina Muntean-Mincu (pronounced “Rusalina / Mun tean-Min koo”), MD, has been caring for the health and wellbeing of adults since 1998. Dr. Muntean-Mincu has clinical interest in metabolic syndrome, diabetes and thyroid disease. She also has clinical interest in alternative medicine, including herbology and homeopathy.
Dr. Muntean-Mincu attended Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMFCD) in Bucharest, Romania. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Ravenswood Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Muntean-Mincu is board certified in both internal medicine and obesity medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture (AAMA). Besides English, Dr. Muntean-Mincu is fluent in Spanish, French and Romanian.
On a personal note, Dr. Muntean-Mincu is married with two daughters. In addition to time with family, she enjoys painting, theater, ballet and travel.
