Dr. Salam S. Brikho (pronounced “Sa-lam Bree-ko”), M.D., M.S. has been practicing since 2019, with a focus in Internal Medicine and clinical interests in evidence-based management of chronic diseases, including and not limited to, Asthma and COPD, Arthritis and Bone health, Diabetes and Lipid management, Hypertension, and Thyroid disease.
Dr. Brikho earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics (focus: health) and his Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering (focus: Biomechanics), both from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He then attended Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Ascension Providence Hospital in - Southfield and Novi - MI.
In addition to English, Dr. Brikho speaks fluent Arabic and Neo-Aramaic (Chaldean/Sureth).
On a personal note, he is married and enjoys traveling, exploring different cuisines, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
