Physician Assistant Samantha Jo Steelman, who goes by Sami Steelman (pronounced “SAM-ee STEAL-mun”), has been practicing since 2009, with a focus on Family Medicine and clinical interests in cardiology, pediatrics, teen/adolescent care, women’s health, geriatric care and minor procedures. She loves the wide variety of patients that family medicine allows her to get to know and care for.
Sami completed her undergraduate study at University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, and minored in Biology and Chemistry. She received a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora. Sami is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds a Colorado Physician Assistant license and DEA certification, as well as being certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR/AED.
Married with two children, Sami enjoys time away from work paddle boarding, wake surfing, hiking, snowboarding and camping with her family. She also enjoys dancing and making jewelry.
